List of events named pogrom was nominated for deletion. The discussion was closed on 18 February 2014 with a consensus to merge. Its contents were merged into Pogrom. The original page is now a redirect to this page. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected article, please see its history; for its talk page, see here.
The wiki page about the event does not describe the event as a “progrom”. In fact: page is likely going to be renamed from “November 2024 Amsterdam attack” to “Amsterdam 2024 football riot” in an effort to more accurately describe the events. If the main page about the event does not classify it as a “progrom”, this page probably shouldn’t either. Yoshuawuyts (talk) 23:43, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
People saying things doesn't make it true, it is most likely speculation. Adding this to the Wikipedia page can have real harm for the truth, as it implies that it is an actual pogrom, but we don't know for sure. I think it should be removed until it is investigated to be true. Shadowbstr (talk) 12:08, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the speed with which the page was updated tells you everything you need to know about blatant bias on display from the editor RUSHING to dilute the meaning of the word pogrom by adding a small fights breaking out after the football match between hooligans disrespecting locals and tearing down flags and local population to the page, warping the narrative and omitting racist displays by the football fans prior to the fights that broke out
